BCC STEM Students Display Aircraft Design At Teterboro Aviation Museum

TETERBORO, N.J.– The Aviation Hall of Fame in Teterboro will host a presentation by Bergen Community College's STEM department.

The event will highlight the process of aircraft design, uncrewed aerial systems, 3-D printing, aircraft simulation and STEM.

Students will present an aircraft design – “UV-4 V/STOL UAV" – "with the purpose of providing cargo delivery with an internal payload," according to the school.

The event will highlight the process of aircraft design, uncrewed aerial systems, 3-D printing, aircraft simulation, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), organizers said. 

The presentation will begin shortly after 6 p.m. on Oct. 21. 

It will conclude with an open floor discussion regarding this new type of aircraft and its capabilities, organizers said. 

The Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of New Jersey was founded in 1972.
