Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting Planned In Hasbrouck Heights

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- The Christmas spirit kicks off in Hasbrouck Heights with the borough's parade and holiday festival on Friday, Nov. 25.

The Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring the Holiday Parade 2017.

The parade will start promptly at 7 p.m. on the corner of Lawrence Avenue and Boulevard. The parade will run the entire Boulevard until the circle by TD Bank.

The Boulevard will be closed between Henry Street and Washington Place, and Williams Avenue and Paterson Avenue.

There will also be a contest for the best float. 

At the end of the parade, Mayor Jack Delorenzo will light the Holiday Tree, hosted by the Mayor’s Celebration Committee. 

Children are then invited to meet with Santa at the TD Bank, 109 Boulevard.

The borough is also holding its annual Holiday Decoration Contest. The preliminary round of judging will take place Dec. 16, 17 and 18 from 7 to 11 p.m. with final round of judging on Monday, Dec. 19 from 7 to 11 p.m.
