HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Adults and teens in the ninth grade and up are invited to the Free Public Library of Hasbrouck Heights' "Crafts-to-Share Club," to make decorative birdhouses, on Wednesday, April 20.

A flyer for the event notes that items made by the club are donated to Hackensack University Medical Center and Tomorrow's Children's Fund. You can also donate yarn for projects at the library.

Participants will decorate birdhouse centerpieces with chocolate candies. The event will run from 3-4:30 p.m. Register for this special edition of the crafting club here.

The crafting club meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and the third Wednesday afternoon, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. To register for crafting club events, use the library's online calendar, here.

The Free Public Library of Hasbrouck Heights is located at 320 Boulevard. For more information about library events, visit its website or follow it on Facebook.
