Moonachie Helps Rebuild Bergen County With 5k Run

MOONACHIE, N.J. -- The South Bergen Rotary Club is joining forces with Race2Rebuild for the Race2Rebuild Moonachie 5K and Project Day on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The day kicks off with a 5K and Community Breakfast at the ball fields on Redneck Road.

Participants may register to race, volunteer or both. 5K runners and volunteers receive a T-shirt, goody bag and breakfast. Volunteers also receive lunch.

Race registration is $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Click here to sign up online.

The Bergen County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster will also lead kids in a “Zombie Ready Family Disaster Preparedness Game.” Costumes are encouraged.
