According to JC Promotions, which announced the event in its newsletter, the street will be transformed into a "giant town block party" between Cedar and Park Streets.
Some of the attractions will be mechanical kiddie rides, face painting, sand art, temporary tattoos, and a climbing wall. There will be live, local entertainment on stage all day, and other attractions too numerous to list.
Open air cafes along the route promise to offer a wide selection of delicious and traditional foods including hot dogs, ice cream, chicken fingers, zeppoles, shish kabobs, fresh squeezed lemonade, Italian ice, hamburgers, french fries, sausage and pepper sandwiches, cheesesteaks and roasted corn.
Many local merchants and businesses plan to showcase their shops by offering special sales.
Local civic groups and merchants are invited to participate in this opportunity to showcase their businesses and organizations.
