RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.–All are invited to bring a blanket and picnic basket while listening to The Waldwick Community Band take the stage in Ridgefield Park on Wednesday, Aug. 10 as the summer concert series continues.
Broadway, popular and classical music will be featured by the Waldwick Community Band, a volunteer music organization supported by the borough of Waldwick.
The band owns a concert band library of over 2,100 titles, including John Philip Sousa originals dating 1891.
They feature an eclectic mix of original compositions for concert band, orchestral transcriptions, music from the Broadway stage and film scores, "big band" favorites, and known marches.
Band members come from all walks of life, and range in age from high school students through retirees.
Additional upcoming concerts for the Ridgefield Park Summer Concerts Series include,
- Aug. 17: Julian & DominqueI – a duo presenting a "Show of 1,000 voices."
- Aug. 24: Cornucopia – Swing to the Big Band Music from the 1930s-40s.
- Aug. 31: Taxi – Rock, Pop & Roll through the years.
The public is welcome to experience these music concerts along the waterside.

All concerts take place at the Gazebo in McGowan Park , located along Bergen Turnpike.
