HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Adults can get in shape with a summer walking challenge at the Hasbrouck Heights Library.
The challenge is open to the general public as well as to library patrons. The goal is for each participant to walk a total of 50,000 steps by the end of August.
Stop by the library’s circulation desk and a staff member will explain how the program works. Participants get a free pedometer to track walking progress.
Patrons who participate in this challenge will be eligible to win memberships to local gyms, prize bags and assorted other rewards.
For patrons with physical disabilities, or for general questions, call (201) 288-0484 and ask for Laura.
