RIDGEFILED, N.J. — The Ridgefield Anti-Bullying Committee is teaming up with the Ridgefield Fire Department to "Stand Up Against Hunger" on Sundays, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6.
Donations can be dropped off at the Ridgefield Fire House on Shaler Avenue between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. No expired items will be accepted.
Items that are most useful to neighbors in need include:
• Peanut butter and jelly;• Pasta and sauce;• Cereals and oatmeal;• Macaroni and cheese;• Canned fruit and vegetables
The community food drive is intended to fill the Ridgefield Food Pantry located at St. Matthew's Church on Prospect Avenue.
