HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — Ghosts, goblins, princesses and plenty of Star Wars characters are sure to show up at Corpus Christi’s Catholic School’s first Trunk Or Treat in Hasbrouck Heights tonight.
Hosted by the Corpus Christi Home and School Association, the event invites Corpus Christi school families to decorate their cars and hand out treats in the church’s parking lot. Prizes will be offered for the best-decorated car.
Held in conjunction with the annual fall festival, the trunk-or-treat runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
Each vehicle owner is responsible for providing and handing out his or her own candy to trick-or-treaters, and all candy must be peanut-free.
Cars must enter the lot by 5 p.m. today. Only pre-registered cars will be permitted.
The event is open to Corpus Christi families only.
