AAA: New Jersey E-zpass Holders Have Been Losing Money To New York

A recent study by AAA found that E-ZPass holders issued by other agencies are being charged the cash rate at New York bridges and tunnels run by the MTA instead of receiving the E-ZPass discount, NJ.com reports.

Between 2012 and 2016, 70 million people from the Garden State were charged the cash rate at MTA crossings, out of the 92 million total who were not given the discount, NJ.com says.
