Ex-Firefighter Sues Hasbrouck Heights

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — A former Hasbrouck Heights firefighter and mechanic has filed a lawsuit against the borough saying he was unfairly removed and fired for misconduct, NorthJersey.com reports.

Peter Kolodziej said in a suit filed last week that he was denied meeting minutes from a closed session regarding his work in Hasbrouck Heights and the charges he faced, the article says.

He was relieved of his duties in April as a department mechanic and firefighter, NorthJersey.com says.
