Hasbrouck Heights To Host Meet The Candidates Night

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N,J. -- The Contemporary Club of Hasbrouck Heights will sponsor a council candidates night on Monday, October 24, at 7 p.m. in the Hasbrouck Heights Council Chamber. Both Republican council candidates Josephine Ciocia and Ronald Kistner and Democratic council candidates Christopher Hillmann and Ian Godfrey have been invited to participate. They will present a brief biography, reasons for running for the council and give closing remarks. The audience will also be allowed to ask questions.

Residents are invited to attend so they can make an educated decision on Tuesday, Nov. 8, to fill the two open council seats. The two elected officials will take office in January for a term of three years.

The welcome will be given by Patricia Link, president, Contemporary Club of Hasbrouck Heights GFWC. The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Lori Zorat, president, Junior Woman’s Club GFWC. The moderator will be Rose Heck, public issues chair for the Contemporary Club of Hasbrouck Heights GFWC.

The Council Chamber is in the Hasbrouck Heights Municipal Building at 320 Blvd., Hasbrouck Heights.
