Hasbrouck Heights Youth Recognized For Collecting Police Trading Cards

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Local children collected Hasbrouck Heights Police Department Trading Cards -- and received a certificate when the collected a complete set.

"The HHPD Trading Card Program is designed to increase the positive contacts between the HHPD and the children of the community," the Department website notes. "Each member of the Department has a trading card and kids, 12 and under, are encouraged to collect the cars from each member."

Police Chief Michael Colaneri, Mayor John DeLorenzo, Police Commissioner Russell Lipari, Deputy Police Commissioner Peter Traina and Patrolman Brian Donohue presented the certificates.
