RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Ridgefield Park's All Schools Special Needs Committee is planning to launch a new program that will help students once they are beyond the age requirements of the special education program, according to NorthJersey.com.

Students who are 21-years-old and older will learn basic life skills like basic hygiene and how to do chores around the house. Those that are able, will be brought into the community to work various jobs, NorthJersey.com reported.

The proposed initiative is still in its very early stages, NorthJersey.com said.
