Anthony L. Viceconte, 83, Of Hasbrouck Heights

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. – Anthony Viceconte, a resident of Hasbrouck Heights, died Monday, July 11. He was 83.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Edna and Anthony J. Viceconte.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring, he was a property manager for Olympia & York Properties Corp. in New York City. Previously, he was the owner of J. Transfer Trucking & Warehouse Co. in New York City.

He was a faithful parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Hasbrouck Heights, where he was a former member of its stewardship council and a member of Monsignor Fitzpatrick Knights of Columbus Council 7041. He also was active in other church and community activities.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, James Viceconte and his wife Jacqueline Jodl, Peter Viceconte and his wife Kathleen and Christopher Viceconte and his wife Marianne; and grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Alec, Ryan, Mary Kate, Sarah, Claire and Evan.

He was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Viceconte.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 218 Washington Place, Hasbrouck Heights. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y.
