HARBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Hasbrouck Heights resident Edwinna N. (Dwyer) Carroll died Sunday, Jan. 10. She was 67.
Born in Passaic, Carroll was as a receptionist for Architectural Window in East Rutherford for 36 years. She previously worked at Bill O’Sheas Florist and Bruce’s Florist in Carlstadt.
Carroll was a past president and a former trustee for the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education from 1997-06. She was an alternate to the superintendent of schools, as well as a trustee for the Hasbrouck Heights Public Library. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was involved in its Rainbow Girls.
She is survived by her aunt and cousins.
Carroll was predeceased by her husband, Michael Carroll; her parents, Henry and Lillian Dwyer; and brother Henry Dwyer.
Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Costa Memorial Home, 170 Central Ave., Hasbrouck Heights. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19 at the funeral home with Pastor Nancy Tonnessen officiating. Interment will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, in Clifton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hasbrouck Heights Public Library.
