HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Elisabetta (Mezzina) De Bari -- a Jersey City resident, formerly of Hoboken -- died on Monday, April 25. She was 94.
Born in Italy, De Bari came to the United States in 1966.
She is survived by her children, Nicolantonio De Bari and his wife Anna of Old Bridge, Mauro De Bari and his wife Maria of Union City, Caterina Ruocco and her husband Aniello of Jersey City, and Pantaleo De Bari and his wife Damiana of Rochelle Park; siblings Laura Grillo and Pantaleo Mezzina, both of Italy; grandchildren Maria Lisa Ciminata, Angelo Antonio De Bari, Elizabeth De Bari, Angelantonio De Bari, Roberta Capozzoli, Pantaleo De Bari, Mariangela De Bari, Luigi De Bari and Elizabeth De Bari; great-grandchildren Alessandro, Gianluca, Lucas and Giuliana.
De Bari was predeceased by her husband, Angelantonio De Bari; parents, Nicola and Antonia Mezzina
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Ave., in Hasbrouck Heights. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 9 a.m., with a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy from Corpus Christi Church, in Hasbrouck Heights. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
