“She never gave up fighting, even till the end,” states a GoFundMe page created to raise funds for her funeral and expenses related to her illness.
“She had multiple gamma knife procedures, brain surgery, and full brain radiation, in addition to chemo and immunotherapy,” the page states.
McManus, who died on July 3, lived in Ridgefield Park for many years before moving to Bogota.
She is survived by her husband Steve Levendakes, daughters Brittany and Cassidy McManus, Lindsay Levendakes and Anna Antonova, brother Joseph Pszonek and his wife Susan, as well as many friends, nieces and nephews.
“Her love of her family, unending caring and giving to others will forever be remembered and cherished,” her obituary states.
Nearly $5,000 had been raised through the GoFundMe page by Wednesday evening.
