HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. – George A. Matson Jr., a resident of Hasbrouck Heights and formerly of Belleville, died Friday, June 24. He was 70.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a sales representative for Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Paramus and a guest service representative for Met Life Insurance Co.
He received several B.S. Degrees and an M.S Degree from Seton Hall University in East Orange.
He is survived by his children Nicole Acabou and husband Rock of Sewaren and Jaime Matson of West Milford; grandson Lorenzo Acabou; and brothers Thomas, Robert, and Eric Matson.
He was predeceased by his parents George Matson Sr. and Margaret Hanley.
An inurnment service to be scheduled at a later date. There are no visiting hours.
Arrangements are by Santangelo Funeral Home in Lodi.
