HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Gloria Quinn, a resident of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of East Rutherford, died Sunday, April 24. She was 81.
She was born on April 10,1935, in the Philippines and came to the U.S. in 1966. Before becoming a homemaker to raise her daughter, she was a pharmacist for J&J Pharmacy in Teaneck for six years.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic in East Rutherford, a member of the San Nicholas Club of N.J. and Circulo Masantolenos Eastern Seaboard.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Grace Quinn-Laskowski and her husband Lance; grandchildren Joseph Quinn and Ashley Quinn; siblings Lydia Dizon, Nicholas Flores, Violeta Quengua, Norma F. Ibe, Melba F. Tabilin.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Edward Quinn, and siblings Jose Flores, Tarcila Flores and Esther Atienza.
The funeral will be departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt, on Saturday, April 30, at 9 a.m. for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
