HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Lucie A. Conway (nee Spitale), 90, of Hasbrouck Heights and formerly of Lyndhurst, died Friday, Dec. 25,.
She was born in Lyndhurst to the late Vito and Louise Spitale.
Before retiring, she was a head sales associate at Gimbels Department Store in Paramus.
She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Hasbrouck Heights, where she was a member of its choir and Rosary Society.
She also was a member of the Contemporary Club and a former member of the V.F.W. Post 4591 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Hasbrouck Heights.
She was the wife of the late Andrew J. Conway; mother of Barbara Germann and her husband Henry of Montclair, Debra Gentile and her husband Tony of Wood-Ridge and the late Robert Conway and his wife Deborah Conway of Port Orange, Fla.
She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, most recently Katherine Conway; grandmother of T.J. Gentile of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Marissa Perodeau and her husband Michael of Carlstadt. She also is survived by her caregiver Krystyna Bugyi.
Her funeral is at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Costa Memorial Home, 170 Central Ave., Hasbrouck Heights. There will be a funeral liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church at 9:30 a.m.
Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
