WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. -- Lucy T. Jensen, 88, of Wood-Ridge, died Oct. 1.
She was born in Moonachie and worked at Volunteer Savings Bank in Little Ferry before retiring. She was a parishioner and Rosary Society member of Assumption RC Church, Wood-Ridge, the Wood-Ridge Contemporary Club and the Fair Lawn Calorie Counters.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Jensen Jr.
She is survived by her children, Edwin C. Jensen III, Cecelia Carney Altamore and her husband John, Grace Lucy Paulson and her husband Ron, Anthony Joseph Jensen, Joseph Anthony Jensen, Mary Anne Macheska and her husband Lenny; grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Eric, Lori, Roxanne, Justine, Nicole, Michele, and their spouses; and great-grandchild, Soren.
There will be a funeral at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Macagna-Diffily-Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., Rutherford, thence to Assumption RC Church in Wood-Ridge, for a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. Visiting hours will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NJ Veterans Home 1 Veterans Drive, Paramus, NJ, 07652 or to a charity of your choice in her memory.
