RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. – Maria E. Sanchez, a resident of Ridgefield Park, died Friday, March 4. She was 70.
She was formerly of Hackensack. Before retiring, she worked for Hackensack University Hospital in patient transportation.
She is survived by her husband, Mario; her children, Christina Rosario and her husband, Arnaldo, of Hackensack; and Marisela Molin and her husband, Roman, of Bergenfield; her grandchildren, Landon, Marcus and Xavier; her siblings, George Castellanos, Hector Castellanos, Belen Montalvo and Theresa Sokol.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Alfredo Castellanos.
The funeral service was held Sunday, March 6, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to Tomorrow's Children’s Fund, 30 Prospect Ave., Hackensack, NJ 07601.
