HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. – Robert L. Klenk Jr., a resident of Hasbrouck Heights, died Saturday, June 25. He was 51.
Born in Hackensack to the late Marion and Robert L. Klenk, Sr., he was an electrician for Unity Electric in East Rutherford and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 164 in Paramus.
He is survived by his wife Maureen Klenk; children Lauren Klenk (Shawn Bennett), Robert J. and James Klenk; siblings Michael Klenk and Laraine Ruggeri and her husband Ron; grandson Chase; sister-in-law Rose Purcell and the late Jim. He also is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law and his nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 218 Washington Place, Hasbrouck Heights (all to meet at church). Private cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights.
