WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. -- Roger Henry Nafash, of Wood-Ridge, died Aug. 13. He was 73.
He received his bachelor's degree from Ramapo College. For five years, he was a counselor and an aid working for an agency in Hackensack. He was a member of the Corona Masonic Lodge 261 in Hasbrouck Heights.
He was the brother of Maurice S. Nafash and his wife Arlene and the late Lenore Nafash; uncle of Cheryl McLaughlan, Michael and Sue Nafash, Mark Nafash and his fiancée Tracy; great-uncle of Jaimie McLaughlan and Amanda Nafash; and great-great-uncle of Damien Furfaro. He also is survived by many cousins.
There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in the the funeral home.
