Eric Chase Bolling of Demarest was found dead on Sept. 8 in Boulder, Colorado, where he was a student at the University of Colorado Boulder.

A "mixed drug intoxication" accidentally killed him, the coroner's office in Boulder County said.

“We must fight against this national epidemic," his father tweeted on Thursday, "too many innocent victims.”

Eric Bolling had been suspended from Fox News on Aug. 8 as a result of allegations of texting a lewd photo to 14 female colleagues in the past.
