MOONACHIE, N.J. – Thomas J. Cascio, of Moonachie, died Thursday, March 3. He was 81.
He had been a manager for Grand Union Bakery. He and his wife owned Cascio's Pastry Shoppe in Moonachie. He was a 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona Church, Little Ferry.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane; children Rosemary Colella and her husband, John; and Dyanne Murgolo and her husband, Joseph III; and grandchildren Jonathan and Christopher Colella and Joseph IV and Diana Murgolo; and his loyal canine companion, Maizy.
Visitation will take place Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, Maywood. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
