Boy Gets Stuck In Tree While Trying To Rescue Kitten In Hackensack

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Firefighters were dispatched to a Hackensack home on Friday for a report of a child stuck in a tree while trying to rescue his kitten, authorities said.

Upon arrival, his mother pointed out where in the tree her son was, and firefighters began calming him down, firefighters said.

The child first handed down his kitten and then firefighters assigned the child onto and down the latter, officials reported.

No injuries were reported.
