HOW YOU CAN HELP: The Center for Food Action is seeking both donations and volunteers for mobile storm relief to Moonachie, Little Ferry and other areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.
Donations needed through Friday include high-protein nonperishable food:
- Canned tuna;
- Peanut butter;
- Hearty soups;
- Mac & cheese;
- Canned beans;
- Shelfable milk.
Also needed: personal care products, paper products and cleaning supplies.
Donation of funds is important, too: It will allow CFA to purchase what isn’t donated.
