ONLY ON CVP: Hasbrouck Heights police discovered that a man who punched an officer in the face outside a local Dunkin Donuts was wanted by authorities in New York, Teaneck and Little Ferry.
Responding to a disorderly persons call early yesterday, Sgt. Scott Adamo was sucker-punched by 36-year-old Erik C. Sicard, police said.
Adamo and Officer Daniel Kroncke seized Sicard, who refused to be processed or identify himself, Detective Sgt. Michael Colaneri Jr. told CLIFFVIEW PILOT .
Police quickly learned who he is — along with outstanding warrants in his name.
New York authorities said they will extradite him.
First, Sicard faces charges in Hasbrouck Heights of aggravated assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct, obstruction and being a fugitive from justice.
He was being held on $15,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
