Graffiti sprayer tagged, cops say

If mug shots qualified as evidence, authorities might consider using Daniel Gnazzo’s. Park Ridge Police Chief Joseph Madden today said Gnazzo, an 18-year-old with a troubled past, is responsible for a graffiti spree along the Pascack Vally commuter train lines.

Park Ridge police have charged Gnazzo with criminal mischief in connection with three tags: “NAZ”, “WTA”, and “064”, in isolated spots along the line.

The incidents began in February, when Gnazzo still lived in Park Ridge, the chief said. He has since moved to Hasbrouck Heights, police said.

Unlike before, when he was a juvenile, Gnazzo is now charged as an adult.
