YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: The online ad featured photos and a phone number, Bogota police said, so a detective called and made an appointment — then busted two women for turning tricks out of an Oakwood Avenue home.
The detective arrived for the 5 o’clock appointment and “was then propositioned to have sex and sexually related acts for compensation,” Detective Geoffrey Cole told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.
Stephanie J. Galivanes, 25, of Bogota and 20-year-old Astrid E. Alvarez, 20, of the Bronx, were charged with engaging in prostitution.
Galivanes, who police said took out the ad, was also charged with promoting prostitution.
Galivanes was released on $5,000 bail and Alvarez on her own recognizance, both pending a Sept. 27 first hearing in Little Ferry Municipal Court.
