Acting Detective Sgt. Frank Scott was at the mall investigating another incident when he spotted Dana B. Firestone’s car parkeed inside the south deck, Operations Division Commander Lt. John Scully said.

Firestone, who lists his occupation as a driver for a security company, is being held on $200,000 bail at the Bergen County Jail. The Garfield resident is charged with sexual assault, child endangerment and serving alcohol to a minor.

The girl’s parents picked her up, Scully said.

Paramus police also contacted the Sex Crimes Unit of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the lieutenant said.

“I’m very much in love with this :),” Firestone posted on his Facebook page on March 1, referring to an online article entitled: “Tabbos: The ‘darker’ side of life.”

“If we don’t take chances,” the story says, “we will never experience what all life has to offer, be it taboo or the opposite.”
