Jack Koval Jr. had a fourth, loaded handgun in his Bayonne home – along with $100,000 in cash – when Grewal’s investigators raided it after Saturday’s arrest, the prosecutor said.
A judge ordered Koval released without bail pending an Oct. 5 first court appearance, he said.
Authorities charged the retiree with illegally selling a firearm.
“The investigation is continuing and additional charges may be considered by the grand jury,” Grewal said.
The prosecutor also thanked Dumont, East Rutherford and State Police for their assistance in the case.
