TETERBORO, N.J. -- A 26-year-old out-of-state worker fell 45 feet to his death on a Teterboro construction project Thursday.
The worker was breathing but unresponsive after falling through corrugated roofing on a North Street building under construction near Huyler Street just before 10:30 a.m.
Hackensack University Medical Center EMS and paramedics responded -- along with Moonachie police -- and took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon after.
OSHA responded to the scene, Moonachie Police Detective Sgt. Anthony Fugnitti told Daily Voice.
Police were notifying next of kin, Fugnitti said.
