Ridgefield Park Students Exhibit Biliteracy

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Ridgefield Park's pilot biliteracy program continues to pick up steam with eight students slated to receive the honor at graduation in June, according to NorthJersey.com. 

The Ridgefield Park will have eight students earn the state's biliteracy distinction this year.

The biliteracy program began last year with only three students showing the requisite proficiency in reading and writing in two languages. There are a variety of ways a student can earn the biliteracy distinction, including scoring a 3 or above on an AP Language and World Culture exam, NorthJersey.com reported.
