Hasbrouck Heights Teen Makes USA Track, Field Regionals

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Anthony DiLascio became the first member of the Hasbrouck Heights recreation track and field team to qualify for the USA Track and Field Regional Youth Track Championships.

DiLascio finished fifth in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.

He will go on to compete in the 2016 Region 2 Junior Olympics July 7-10,at Widener University in Chester, PA, against runners from New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

If he places in the top 5, DiLascio will qualify for the national meet in Sacramento, California.

Hasbrouck Heights Recreation track coaches are Jim Ryan, Alex Quinn, Jenn Nass and Tom Hughes.
