Paramus Catholic Suspends Coach Accused Of Punching Former QOP Athlete

PARAMUS, N.J. — An assistant Paramus Catholic football coach accused of punching a player and sending him to the hospital with a concussion has been suspended, NJ.com reports.

Player Derick Suazo, 18, recently said coach Ed Tedesco struck him so hard during a 7-on-7 scrimmage that he was left with a concussion, the article says.

Suazo, formerly a Queen of Peace athlete, said he filed charges against Tedesco Thursday, NJ.com reports.
