HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — What began as a passion for trying coffee from around the world has become a way of life for Bruce "Juan" Pettineo, who opened Koffeewagon Roasters in Hasbrouck Heights in January.
Pettineo came across a 17-year-old Primo roaster in New Hampshire and within two weeks was perfecting his skills.
The coffee connoisseur does everything in the Hasbrouck Heights shop — from roast to pour.
Koffeewagon Roasters even boasts a pour-over coffee machine — which makes a fresh cup on the spot by pouring hot water over coffee grinds — and features hand-brewed teas and healthy snacks.
