RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- The summer recreation program in Ridgefield Park is offering a full day program and information sessions for parents take place Wednesday, April 27 and Wednesday, May 11.
The meetings runs from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the Municipal Building.
The full day camp program will run June 27-Aug. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of the program is $600 for town residents and $750 for out of town residents. A half day program is offered as well.
In addition to the long standing outdoor program at Veterans Park, the program now has space in the Ridgefield Park Jr/Sr High School.
The program will continue to go to the John B. Davis Pool on Fridays but will now be able to go other times during the week as well as take children to swim lessons for an extra fee.
Children will be required to bring a snack and lunch, which can be refrigerated.
Children will be able to work on their summer work for school, and games and sports will take place along with more detailed arts and crafts.
There will be theme days, competitions and special programs throughout the summer.
