LITTLE FERRY, N.J. -- Antonio M. Torres, of Little Ferrry, died on Friday, Dec. 16. He was 83.
He was born in Fundacion, Colombia and came to this country in 1983 settling in Little Ferry. Prior to retiring, he was a factory worker at Union Camp of Moonachie.
He is survived by his wife, Josefa M.; children, Antonio Torres and his wife Jeanette, Ruth Beltran and her husband Ismael, Lenis Torres, Libardo Torres, Jackie Portiollo and her husband Alberto, Leonardo Torres, Patricia Torres, Carlos Torres and Luis Torres and his wife Gina; 25 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and sister, Ruth Cortissoz.
Visiting will be on Monday from 5-9 p.m. at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., Hackensack. The funeral will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 10:45 a.m. Mass will be at noon at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Ave., Hackensack, with entombment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
