HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Mauro I. Santana, of Hasbrouck Heights, died on Monday, Dec. 12.
Born in Monte Cristi, Ecuador on Nov. 22, 1942, to the late Mauro and Maria Santana and came to the United States in 1969. Before retiring, He was an environmental service maintenance associate at St. John's Queens Hospital in Queens.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria M. (nee Alarcon) Santana; children, Mauro Javier Santana, Maria E. Antunez and her husband William and Robert S. Santana and his fiancé Arrifa Hassan.; grandchild, Steven W. Antunez; and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 8:45 a.m. Funeral Liturgy from St. Joseph's R.C. Church East Rutherford at 10 a.m. Interment information to follow. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 5 - 9 p.m.
