A man and a teen were accused of threatening employees at a store on the Wildwoods Boardwalk with a gun and a knife, authorities said. Nicholas Green, 23, of Cape May Court House, was arrested on Tuesday, May 21, the Wildwood Police Department said in a news release on Friday, May 24. Speeding Pennsylvania Driver, 29, Charged Crash That Killed NJ Grandmother
A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with a fatal high-speed crash in South Jersey, authorities said. Theresa Karbach, 69, of Cherry Hill, died as a result of injuries from the crash in Lawnside on May 13 at about 9:30 p.m., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. Anwar Parham, 29, of North Wales, PA, was charged with death by auto, driving with a suspended license and assault by auto, MacAulay said. A Newark man was convicted of robbing someone who won $20,000 at an Atlantic City casino, authorities said. A jury found 51-year-old Robert Reed guilty on Monday, May 20 of second-degree robbery, third-degree aggravated assault, third-degree theft by unlawful taking, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. A 21-year-old driver from Pennington was killed when his car hit a tree in a wooded area, authorities said. Hopewell police responded to the crash at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 on Route 518 between Kings Path and Aunt Molly Road in Hopewell, police said. A Cherry Hill man has been sentenced to 40 years in New Jersey State Prison for murdering his ex-wife, authorities said. On April 3, 2024, Philip Puche, 76, was convicted of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, and weapons offenses in connection to the death of Nancy Kenny on March 15, 2021.
